A Special Meeting of the voters in LaMotte Township is being called May 15, 202 at 6:00PM at the Township building located at 209 N. Lincon St. This meeting is to approve the transfer of surplus funds (Savings) from the Town Fund and Insurance Fund to the Road and Bridge Fund for the purpose of updating equipment. In Progress: Culvert Replacement and Relocation Project – West Edge of Palestine
Monday, April 14, 2025, work will be starting with just Flaggers and on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the road will be closed from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. It will reopen in the evening and the weekends. Estimated time of the culvert replacements is two (2) weeks, with other work taking up to four (4) weeks, weather pending. Work will be located on CR1000 Ave. west of town from the intersection of E. 1000th Ave. and N. 1710th St. west to intersection E. 950th Ave. and N. 1650th St. For local traffic, be prepared for some road closures and delays.
